Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd. (KEI) is an oil and gas exploration and production company which was incorporated in Delaware. It is currently operating the Kangean Working Area in East Java in partnership with Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas).

KEI has a variety of assets in its area including producing/development stage oil and gas fields and substantial exploration potential. Currently, KEI supply the gas to our customer in East Java under the Gas Sales Agreement.

Gas Production in KEI currently comes from Pagerungan Field and Terang Sirasun Batur (TSB) Field. Natural gas produced transported through the East Java Gas Pipeline (EJGP) to be sold to the state-owned power company and fertilizer factories in the outskirts of Surabaya, East Java. There is a strong demand for gas in the region and the operation of these gas fields will contribute to providing a stable supply of energy as well as to the growth of the local economy.

KEI will continue to develop the significant hydrocarbon resources in the area by appraising the discovered field and accelerating the exploration programs.
