Pagerungan Field 

Pagerungan Gas Field was found in 1985, and commenced production in 1994. Gas field development conducted with drilled additional wells at offshore in 1996. Booster compressor was installed in 1999 to delivery gas to customer and additional Rancak Wells drilled in 2006.

Gas & condensate production in Kangean currently comes from onshore and offshore wells in the Ngimbang and Rancak reservoirs in the Pagerungan area.   Peak of Gas Production was achieved in 1998 – 2001 with 350-450 mmscfd of gas production rate. Currently, eventhough the field has been declined, Pagerungan is still important gas producer to East Java.
